Robert Kubica & Renault
I think he may be better of moving to another team, but which??
Ferrari? Mercedes? Toro Rosso?
BBC Sport - F1 - Robert Kubica lukewarm on future with Renault F1 team
Ferrari? Mercedes? Toro Rosso?
In-form Renault driver Robert Kubica has refused to commit himself to the team for next season.
The 25-year-old Pole is sixth in the drivers' standings and has two podium finishes in seven races this season.
That form has seen him linked with a move to Ferrari and when asked about next season, he was non-committal.
"It's not the time to talk about it," he said. "There will be time for me to talk about whether I will be staying with Renault or not."
He added: "For me, for now, it is still too early. It's all about feeling, and once I get a feeling as to what I must decide then I will do it.
"Too many people, when I signed for Renault, told me I was wrong, that it was a bad move.
"But I'm pretty happy with my decision and I hope I can rely on my decision-making for the future."...

I agree, I think he stays and gets some more experience. It's not like Renault are a terrible team. This will also give him the experience of actually having to fight for positions/wins, etc instead of just being put in a position where it is expected.

I agree. Renault has a great history and seems to have a good team - however, the parent company is threatening to pull out of the sport altogether, so staying may be a bad move.

there's the rub, nissan are not committed 100% to the sport. if i were him i would definitely try to move on. massa's seat is the only real possibility of moving up unless webber leaves, all the other seats are locked up though. keep in mind kimi might want to come back so space is very limited, there might be no other choice than to stay at renault.

Maybe last season the car was ahead of his skills but by the end of this season I believe he might actually be ahead of the cars ability...
So Renault will have to do something amazing to keep him challenged
I am looking at this the right way?

we'll see, lotus have some issues to contend with off the circuit as well. buemi is a decent hand and jaime is improving all the time so unless tost falls out with either one its feasible they keep their lineup. as i said, he may be forced to stay at renault which isn't the worst outcome by a long shot.
