Jersey City Decides Against Grand Prix

You wanna see potholes, you need to check out Hoboken/JerseyCity/Manhattan.
The streets here are so F'd it's not even funny. There is absolutely no drainage either, so the roads flood HORRIBLY. Surprisingly enough, for the first time in a very long time, they are ripping up all the street in Hoboken. They've been working on my street for like 3 weeks now, so hopefully some of these problems are fixed.
This first picture is actually is literally a block away from my apartment

Honestly, it might have been more of an embarrassment for the country had they gone through with it.
Now that the obligatory crass Jersey remark is out of the way (we'll see how long I can go), just ridiculous. For once, these twits had a chance to do something with that shithole (especially with Jersey City), but they didn't--proving, once again, incompetence is all but a requirement to be elected to any sort of public office.
I mean, seriously, what other "positive efforts to benefit Jersey City and Liberty State Park" are there, really? They're just going to keep wallowing away in their morbid state until the EPA finally mans up and declares the entire area a superfund site.

Man, when I was in Chicago I couldn't believe how nice the streets were in condition to Jersey's.
