Coulthard finishes 12th on DTM debut - Formula 1 news - GPUpdate.net
David Coulthard crossed the finish line in 12th place and 35 seconds off the lead as the Scot made his return to racing on Sunday. Having retired from Formula 1 at the end of the 2008 season, the BBC television pundit competed in leading German touring car championship the DTM.
As explained when confirming his touring car drive via the BBC TV coverage for the Malaysian Grand Prix, Coulthard will be driving in all DTM rounds of 2010 as the championship clashes with not a single F1 race weekend.
With fellow Briton and McLaren test driver Gary Paffett having taken pole position and the race win, leading home a convincing Mercedes 1-2-3-4 which also consisted of Force India Friday driver Paul di Resta, Coulthard started 17th of the 18 cars, one place and four tenths of a second slower than former F1 rival Ralf Schumacher.
In the race, 'DC' achieved his goal of seeing the chequered flag and finished ahead of fellow Mercedes newcomer Franky Cheng, beating the Chinese driver by one and a half seconds.

I wish they'd show DTM races live (or at least same-day delayed) here in the US. Speed showed the whole 2009 season in the weeks leading up to the F1 season, but I'd like to be able to watch as it unfolds.
DTM is so great... I wish more Americans knew about it. Watching a DTM race at Sonoma or Laguna Seca would be a real treat.
