I don't think we are going to be able to compete, period. I would like to see our leaderboard include which strategy the member chose. I doubt there are any $40 mil option guys in the top 10.

Webber is the first driver this season to win from Pole, hence his large value increase.
Personally, I like that values are calculated scientifically based on results. I don't like the randomness of values being influenced by popularity. (OK you could argue about their values at the start of the season)
To the Lewis fanboys, at least he got the Fastest Lap bonus and had his failure on the second last lap. Here's how Lewis managed an OK points haul despite his poor finish:
Laps completed 64 (@ 1pt per lap)
Qualifying Bonus 25 (for 3rd place)
Final Position 12 (for 14th place)
Fastest Lap Bonus 25
TOTAL 126
But I was still really happy to see him with a DNF!

I loved it last year while I played stock broker, pretty much, during race time on Sundays. Since my lineup was locked for the race. I would buy and sell drivers as their prices fluctuated. That's how I acquired Button and Vettel with four races left in the season. That's how I was able to jump massively towards the end.

Joe, I love you mate, but tallying up Lewis' score and calling it "Ok points" is infuriating.
He should have had - at least - 100 more points. His DNF broke the back of every player in The League that chose him. But that's racing.
It's nobody's fault. And no sense crying about it. McLaren fans just need to look forward to the next race.
I do suppose that - for the Tifosi - seeing Lewis running into the gravel was a beautiful thing.
Bastards.
As far as how The League is functioning, it is certainly not as fun or involving as last year. But I am still enjoying it a lot.
Funny though. Joe loves how The League is going (he is in first place) but Al hates it (he is in 43rd). This seems to be an interesting pattern with fantasy games . . .
Fantasy Racers did not think their game out as carefully this year. But let's give it a whole season before we judge it too harshly.
We can certainly make a switch next year if there is a concensus to do so.
