He had the best car for a few races. One could argue that Newey's chassis was the best in the second half of the season.

Beat rubens when he had car troubles, the straight fight is when rubens consistently out qualified him and won races while Button "struggled" with getting heat into his tires.

Brawn's strategic decisions got him the WDC and Button had no pace because he's not the fastest driver nor has he ever been. But I must give propz for having the balls to make the call.

Regardless if Lewis complained of tires it's the job of the people behind the wall to determine whether its viable to make a tire change much like Ferrari's wall aided in determining stopping for a 2nd tire change would not help their results.

Button would have to be the smoothest driver out there, certainly at the pointy end.

Is he as talented as Lewis? Probably not. But they have each got 1 WDC, so we will see where they end up in in a few years.
