US F1 Still Has Hopes For 2011

I almost didn't want to post this . . .

Also, ESPN isn't exactly the crack F1 reporting source we are used to.

The fact that the "real" F1 news sites did not report on this speaks volumes.

But I suppose it is news-worthy.

ESPNF1 Staff??

Anyways, I haven't seen this news reported either: A. The 'reliable' F1 news places haven't repoerted it yet OR B. They simply don't care to report anything concerning USF1 anymore

I thought the FIA already declined them for next year?

I also saw that the blog on USF1's site took down the entry of Lopez becoming their driver.

I just feel bad for Peter Windsor... you could see the look in his eyes last year from the grid whenever the topic came up, he would light up like a kid at Christmas.

That was part of the problem. He had no business being on the grid doing interviews while he should have been back in NC getting his cars ready.

There is no excuse.
