The cars are all looking MUCH faster now. Does anyone know how the lap times are comparing now to at the beginning of the race? I can't recall the earlier lap times.

F1 needs to figure out a way to keep the top spot in play for more than the first turn

Almost 2 seconds faster for the leaders.

Did you guys see the lap record for this track is 1:30, which was set by Schumi in 2004. Are these new cars that much slower? or is the track now longer?

Yeah, every change they've made in recent years has been to slow the cars down.
