Plans For The Canadian GP 2010 - Any Advice Or Help Much Appreciated!

Well, the travel company that I had my trip to the Canadian GP booked through informed me by email today that they have gone belly up and will not be handling the trip. AAARRRRGHHHH!

Here is where I stand right now.

Luckily, they kept our reservation at the Hotel Le Roberval in Montreal. Does anyone have any experience with this hotel? They say it is only one bus stop away from the track.

I was looking to fly From LAX on Canada Air into YUL Montreal. Any better suggestions?

As for race tickets, I have been told that Silver 11 is a good bet. Does anyone have any better suggestions?

If anyone has any connections with the GP and can help me out with race tickets I would really appreciate it. I need 3 tickets for Fri-Sun. Of course, I am willing to pay the going rate - which is right around $475 US per.

I am in a total panic right now but I am going to make it hell or high water.

Thanks guys for any help or advice!

Dana

Sorry to hear your original plan didn't work out Dana. Good luck getting tickets and everything! I'm sure you'll have a blast.

Your two main canadian air lines are Air Canada and Westjet. Westjet is seen as the "economy" airline, while Air Canada is more "luxury". For basic needs, both work just fine. Look out for airline loungers, AMEX gets you into those for a small fee. Hope that helps. No clue about what/where to stay in Montreal?
