You're using IE, Joe. Did you really expect it to work?

I'm stuck with IE at work, and an old version at that. It sucks but as long as TS loads, it's all good.

I still love the league. But here are some changes that I'm noticing after the new valuations came out Sunday--which are somewhat disappointing this year compared to last:
1) driver values do not readjust during the week according to popularity; instead the administrators adjust them ONCE right after the GP is over
2)driver values are adjusted subjectively based on how the driver did in a GP, not popularity
3) driver values are adjusted at margins much smaller than last year--this will make it very very difficult (if not impossible) to catch 45m budget players. That is, driver-value inflation is in very small increments based on administration SUBJECTIVITY and not participant popularity
4) you can't make trades real time during the GP; live GP viewing participants are not rewarded for swapping drivers during the GP
The sum total of this, I think, will take a lot of the mid week analysis, data digestion, and participation out of the league. You can just wake up the next morning and everything is static. I think it means that people will not follow F1 and the league as closely day to day, and instead will just make changes right before the freeze. Again, I still love the league and I'm always willing to play by the rules. This is just a short critique/comparison to last year I guess.

^last year's system was definitely more interactive (and fun)

The inability to change drivers during the race has taken about half the fun out of it.
Like Erich said, that rewarded those of us who watched the race live.
Oh well. It is still fun. And now I'm not so obsessed with it!
