Michael Schumacher:"I like watching Barca"
7 times Formula One champion, Michael Schumacher, visited Barcelona where he attended EMD awards. The German won the special lifetime award of the 62nd Gala EMD.
As a part of event Schumacher met with Xavi, Iniesta, Alves and Messi and the Argentinian gave the German an autographed FC Barcelona shirt. Latest Mercedes signing and future rival of Fernando Alonso (confessed Real madrid fan) in his former team Ferrari, was also given a Barca shirt by EMD with the number 77.
Despite his busy schedule Schumacher fullfiled his promise and attended the gala with his wife Corinna. As football has long been Schumacher´s second sport (playing at Zidane´s and Ronaldo´s friendly matches) former F1 champion revealed that in 2003, when Radomir Antic was FC Barcelona coach, he contemplated participating training at La Masia.
"I used to play as midfielder and eventually ended as a striker. Because of my neck injury I had to stop for a while but I do try to play regularly."
Schumacher joked: "It would be great to be a part of trident with Messi and Ibrahimovic although I also enjoy watching them play" and concluded "One of my dreams is to come to Camp Nou and see Barca."

Sad I know Alonso is a horrible person but an amazing driver and I know it not in your character to separate the two. But you never warmed up to Kimi either; so stick to Felipe that's who I'll be rooting for this season.

HEY! I am a Tifoso through and through Alonso's dream move was to go to McLaren and when it turned out sour he realized that he could only be a contender at the crimson stable. It's a logical choice but it doesn't reflect a love for Ferrari merely a love for winning.
