They can't sign him because he doesn't have enough seat time in a current F1 car and he hasn't competed in any open wheeled car racing series. Therefore, he can't get his super license. It's really unfortunate.

^^^^^^^^^Yup, and with the testing restrictions Rossi doesn't want to race with such a lack of seat time. The guy races to win which you gotta luv & respect

That's just it though. He hasn't had anything to prove since winning the title in '04 after switching from Honda to Yamaha. He just really loves racing bikes more than anything else at the moment.
