I think I'll have to leave her behind this time.

What area did you get your seats in?

My son and I are definitely going.

I noticed that the tickets go up to around $500 at the max.

Did you get those seats or consider them?

I got my info from the F1 site.

Mine were $395 per ticket for the 3 days. A fews years ago I sat in the main grandstands across from the Ferrari pit. I believe those tickets were more money but you don't get to see a lot of passing. The start was fun and looking into the pits was cool but I like to see a little more action. I was able to check out various seats during the 3 days last time. I watched the Challenge Race from one set of seats, the Mazda Series from another. The crowds weren't big during the other races so I was able to explore a little.

I was in turn 1 at the Spanish GP and really loved those seats because of the passing.

I may follow you into GS15 then if you have already seen those seats and think they are good. We sat at the first turn at the USGP in 2007 and loved it.

Where are your accomodations - if you don't mind me asking? I don't know the city at all.

I'm staying at Hotel de la Montagne. When I called my AE Concierge, they told me every hotel they have in Montreal was sold out. I found the hotel on Expedia and booked it about a month ago. I've never stayed at this hotel but there weren't many great choices. The town really gets behind this race.

The Centurion people are the people I spoke with at AE. I told them Expedia had rooms and they told me to book through them because there was nothing they could do. Pretty great customer service.
