Just bought tickets, flights and hotel.
FYI, I called AE and they said every hotel in their system is sold out. I asked them to check a hotel I found on Expedia and they said it was also sold out and that I should book through Expedia. I was able to book a couple of rooms. Looks like another crazy time in Montreal.

Hotel rooms go fast. The 6 years we stayed at the Hilton Bonaventure, we reserved the rooms for next year when we checked out and left a deposit.
The one thing I miss about the hotel is drinking at the bar with the main man and best bartender in Montreal Jody, and drinking with the Williams team. The year they were disqualified from the race, we found out about it before the FIA released the news. Buy some F1 engineers some beer and you get some top secret info.
We met Sir Frank in one of the passages from the hotel to the subway that is never used. He was sitting in his wheelchair by himself on a phone call and took the time to shake our hands. We also met and drank with Reggie Jackson at the poolside bar.
We have been renting houses for about 5 years now and wouldn't go back to staying in a hotel, though for the first couple years we would go back to the Bonaventure after races to meet with some of the Williams guys until Jody quit working there. Now we just go back to the house and fire up the grill until we get ready to hit the streets of downtown.

Our schedule in Montreal is usually packed but I would love to meet whenever if any of you guys are in the vicinity.
Friday after practice we go back to the house and start working on the fridge stocked with Molson Dry while we bbq. Friday night we meet with some friends from Toronto in Chinatown for a ridiculous 10 course dinner before taking a cab over to St Laurent where we continue to drink ourselves silly. At some point during the night we visit Super Sexx or Chez Paree.
Saturday after quali is the same as Friday. Saturday night we usually have reservations for around 15 at Gibby's in Old Montreal after which we head to the upstairs balcony at the cigar bar on the corner of Crescent (1 block up from St Catherine). At some point during the night we visit Super Sexx or Chez Paree.
Sunday after the race, we usually stay at the track for a couple hours to finish our beverages (Vodka and suds) and wait for the crowd to die down, this means we end up leaving the track around 5. After tackling what's left in the fridge at the house, we go out for smoked meat sandwiches. We'll cap the night off with some pool at Sharks or something low key.
Factoring the World Cup next summer, wherever we end up we will be watching the tele.

Fellas, throwing $ out of the equation would you choose grandstand 15(hairpin) or 33(sequence of bends coming towards you). I already did grandstand 31 which was cool but you dont see the cars as much as the other two vantage points.
