Thats what they say, but short of releasing specifics, who says they even know what terms he accepted with Mclaren?

Oh, how the drama continues... its beginning to look a lot like WWE (in my best Seinfeld voice... "not that there's anything wrong with that...)
I honestly can't wait for the starting grid next spring; I'm so excited to see what Peter Windsor has up his sleeve for USF1 <~ (I'm a bit excited about that)

This whole thing with JB seems a bit silly. So, he took a pay cut to stay with the team when RB took over, won the championship, then asked for what he would have been paid by Honda. On the surface, that doesn't seem too aggressive. The championship-winning Brawn team, who (one can only imagine) have less trouble finding sponsorship these days, quibble over what amounts to a fraction of their budget. There's got to be more to this than we're hearing.
That said, I wonder how much JB's perception of the relative contributions the car and his driving made to the victory differs from anyone else's...

I don't think Button realizes what he did. He's not a very good driver, Brawn is the reason He won the Championship. He's going to look like a fool at McLaren, and Hamilton is going to drive circles around him.
Brawn will be better off without Button Imo.
+1 I think they have their stuff together. Its going to be an interesting and exciting Championship run Next Season. Lets just hope The FIA/FOTA drama is at a minimum
Yeah Right ![lol](https://teamspeed.com/forums/images/smilies/teamspeed/rofl.gif)

Then how is Hamilton successful with a driving style thats drastically different? Even with Hekki they couldn't share set up data cause Lewis likes his cars with a happy rear end.

And as noted at Interlagos, Button does not like the tail to move around on him at all.

Do you guys actually watch F1??? You realize the drivers can set up their cars differently, right? Lewis is very hard on tires, while Jenson is not. Generally McLaren's cars have rewarded smoother drivers. We'll see...
