So what happens when Massa gets back? Is Räikkonen done for or will Massa's recovery be lengthy? Can't really see Fisichella as a test driver, he belongs at the GPs.

I think Fisi will become the 3rd driver and take over testing duties for Badoer, that was the speculation before it was made official so i'm not 10% if thats still correct.

seems like all the rumors surrounding Kimi's departure are starting to hold water

Very interesting news. My feeling is that Kimi will stay and Massa will be back next season. Fisichella will probably be a third driver. If Force India needs a replacement driver, I'd be more than happy to fill in. I bet I can do better than Badoer did with Ferrari.

A blind man could do better than Badoer.

does this impact Alonso's possible jump to Ferrari? Could both Kimi and Massa end up out on their asses?

I doubt it. Fisi's always been a bit of an underrated driver, but he's not in the league of Mass or Kimi (or Alonso for that matter). Massa's seat is secure, pending health issues. Kimi's, on the other hand, may be up for grabs. At his best, he's just phenomenal, but on an off-day, he's merely average. It really seems as though F1 just doesn't get his blood pumping most of the time. It may just be the veneer of Finnishness masking his inner excitement, but I get the impression that anything other than a win means nothing to him, and if he doesn't think there's a shot to win, he pretty much phones it in on raceday.

A Schumacher return would be nice, but I think he'd only come back if there were a shot at the championship.
