Räikkönen fuels Ferrari exit speculation

Formula One news: Räikkönen fuels Ferrari exit speculation - GPUpdate.net Formula One

Kimi Räikkönen has said that he is certain to race in Formula One next year but the Finn also revealed that, should it not be with the Ferrari team, it would be with another. It is rumoured that the 2007 World Champion is going to be replaced by predecessor Fernando Alonso at the Italian team in 2010.

"If for some reason I am not at Ferrari next season I know I'll have a seat at another team in the paddock," Räikkönen told The Telegraph. "It's not a problem. Other teams want me.

"I'm too young to retire. I have a contract with Ferrari for next season. If I didn't want to race next season I would not have signed a contract."

I wonder what would happen if Kimi and Fernando pulled the 'ol switcheroo and Kimi went to Renault.

Better yet, if he's going to be a free agent, maybe USF1 could snatch him up?

Yes he did. Maybe he's not going anywhere after all.

He did amazing at Spa. His start was fantastic.

In terms of pure speed, I think Kimi has Massa outclassed.

That's pretty easy to do when Massa wasn't even in the race.

In all seriousness though, let's not forget that Massa was a single point away from being the world champion last year, even with his DNFs. I'm a huge Kimi fan, but I personally think Massa is underrated.

I don't think Kimi would go to McLaren with Lewis there.

It'd be like Lewis and Fernando.
