The 1/4 mile thread - Post your actual times

A recent trip to an open night at the local drag strip proved to be an eye-opening experience and a great deal of fun for me and a few of my car enthusiast friends.

I thought it might be a fun idea to start a thread where people can post their experiences at the strip, pics of their timeslips, observations, etc.

The thing I found most shocking was how much slower most street cars were than their 1/4 mile time published in automotive magazines.

Does anyone here ever take their car to the strip? If so, please tell us about it.
