He's definitely back...

And knowing the way Schumi operates, you have to be certain he weighed the decision heavily. There is no way he'd have returned if he didn't think he would win. I am happy beyond words...

Like Gobbles said, I was listening to BBC at work when they announced as breaking news. By the time confirmation came on Autosport, mdoog had posted! Amazing.

This about sums it perfectly

Michael Schumacher is absolutely hard core," Jordan told the BBC. "I think whether he is 20 or 40 makes little difference - his reactions may be a millisecond away, but then he was a millisecond better than everyone else previously so I think he's just levelled it out.

"It will be a big, big wake-up call to a lot of those young drivers out there because they will be looking over their shoulders big time.

I think Schumi has been in F1 shape since the day he retired. I'm ecstatic about the fact that we're going to see Schumi v. Hamilton V. Vettel!!!

Why did you even mention Vettel? He's not a world champion yet.

^B/c he may be the future of F1 and has way more points than Hambone. It's my opinion and you can't touch it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Schumi deals with the Brawns in Valencia since it'll most likely be pretty warm.

Could you imagine!!!

All the hype that is going to build over the next 4 weeks with the return of Schumi, only to have him taken out in turn one. The F1 world would just sit there in utter silence lol

Haha. The race would be a forgone conclusion. He is the rainmaster. I don't remember if anyone recalls this, b/c I can't find the quote.

But I remember watching a speed tv broadcast and they were talking about how they once asked Michael how he was so fast.

He said something like: "the tires/corners of the car speak to you"

and the reporter asked how are you so fast in the rain?

and he replied "they whisper"
