Official Entry List for Le Mans
Got this entry list from planetlemans.com and maybe one of the mods can make it so the list appears in the thread, but all I can do is post the link.
Planetlemans.com | Le Mans - 2009 Le Mans 24 Entry List
Audi recently announced that Penske's former RS Spyder aces Timo Bernard and Romain Dumas will accompany Alexandre Premat in the #3 R15.
Getting close to two weeks to go.

Nice! This is going to be an exciting race! While I really like the new Aston Martin LMP1 car, I'm going to have to root for my boys in the #2 Audi R15!
I really don't have anyone to cheer for in LMP2 since I'm not familiar with any of the teams, but I'll be pulling for the Corvettes in GT1 and the Flying Lizard guys in GT2.
Does anyone know if Speed will be covering this race?

I'm just sorry that there are no new Audi R8 LMS cars entered in Le Mans this year. Audi wasn't sure just how competitive these new cars would be in their first year of competition, and so they didn't allow their private team partners to enter. But after the 24hr Nurburgring last week, the new R8 LMS certainly proved itself ready to go against the best that Porsche can make.
And I want to see how that crazy, new super retro looking Morgan would do at Le Mans. It completely dominated Porsche, Ferrari, Aston, Lamborghini, and Audi at the first two rounds of the 2009 FIA GT European Championship at Silverstone. What a crazy look for a great modern GT racing car!
Nevertheless, Le Mans is always one of the most premier races in the world, and I'm sure this year's race will be full of great drama, with High Definition heart breaking failures, and heroic successes.

Seriously? Yes, I'm sure they'll cover about 15hrs of it, hopefully more if there's no NACSAR race that weekend. I'm getting back from Hong Kong the day of so, I'll be recording the race on my DVR.

Regarding the Murci, this same JLOC car seems to have a horrid result every year, so it would be nice to just see the thing finish the race. There was supposed to be a Russian entered Murci, but they withdrew before the deadline last week.

I don't think they'd be competitive at a high speed track like La Sarthe, and I'm sure Acura is well aware of that.
