Me and my buddies used to go to the F1 race every year. When that was canceled, he went to see motoGP for the replacement last year in Indy, very cool! However, the Moto GP indy race won't fit my work schedule this year. I am thinking about going to the ALMS Race at Mid-Ohio. Are there any other races you guys know of I can look inot that are a blast to go to?

Trying to stay towards the MidWest.....I think the ALMS would be perfect. Never seen it in person, Im sure it would be a treat. Just trying to keep our options open

ALMS will probably be the biggest, but the smaller events (especially vintage racing) can be a LOT of fun and a lot more accessible for fans to get up close to the action. I'd say just take a look at the schedules for all the race tracks that you'd consider driving to in your area and see what they've got planned for the summer. Usually, tickets for the smaller events are really cheap too.

Thanks! I shot that entirely with my Nikon D90 DSLR. Turned out pretty nicely.
