Break out the calculator, it's Thursday night!!!! Here's my fantasy analysis of my team going into Thursday-night practice and the trade freeze on Friday:

If I don't count Button, who I will not consider trading, I have 43.4 in "assets" right now. My "portfolio" has increased in value considerably over these passed two weeks since "the Malay" ended. I think the red and silver tides will fill in at some point. It could be as early as this weekend. It could be as late as 3 GPs from now. But "it's gonna happen, whether you like it or not". So . . . the burning question for myself: when to sell off and buy red/silver. Right now, I can pick up Kimi, Lewis, and Massa with 2.0 left over for ROS, VET, and TRU!!! I wouldn't even have to sell Barricello or SUT and I would still be running a 6-man line up!! But is that a good trade as of right now? Or do I wait? The agony! Any thoughts?

I think you know where I stand. I did the very same thing last week. But I couldn't keep Rubens! To have both Brawn drivers, both Ferrari drivers and Lewis is - to me - the optimum lineup for the long term.

I'm still with my original team, I'm sure they'll pull through.

+1. I'm slowly working my way towards that very lineup. I'm looking forward to some practice banter tonight!!!

And note that only Sutil and Fischi were valued lower than Button and Barrichello at the start of the season. Even Sebastian Buemi was valued at .50 m more than them both!!!

Nobody was giving him a fighting chance.

I was one of the lucky few who picked him up at 6.3!

Same here. I really screwed the pooch when I bought Kimi last week for 9.80. He's down to 9.00 now. I should've picked up Massa instead...

Let me get this straight......Button is currently worth 14 mil, so if I am reading your post correctly, you have a total team value of 57.4 mil WOW!!!!! Well played, very well played.

My total value is currenlty a measly 43.4 mil.....too much indecision and too many trades. Right now I have Button, Kimi, Webber, Kubica and Nakajima. I am basically middle of the pack in the TS league, but so far behind the leaders there is little, if any hope in catching up.
