Brawn GP unreachable admits Massa
#11
With today's news, I'm now beginning to think BrawnGP could legitimately be well positioned going into Melbourne. I can't see why drivers, managers, and engineers from all of the front-grid constructors would either dodge performance questions related to BGP, or positively comment on BGP unless it were legitimate. Now, having said that, we are still about 2 weeks away. With take down, travel time, and reassembly, that leaves only a few hours worth of additional tweaking time left for the teams.
At most, I think BGP makes for an exciting *beginning* to the season. Like other sports will long seasons, though, a team in F1 must be resilient over the entire season, and BGP is running F1 on a shoestring at this point. I get the sense they may are in need of additional resources; who knows--if they come out strong, the resources may fall in place.
The front-grid guys will climb the learning curbe very quickly to stay ahead of the pace if they are not already there by Melbourne. One or two races into the season and you'll see Brawn GP trying to keep pace with Renault and Red Bull. In the meantime, BGP sure does make the season launch more exciting.
