Alonso to race new helmet livery
Fernando Alonso will race a new helmet livery for the 2009 season.

His new design was on display on Monday as he attended the low-key launch and debut of Renault's new R29.

Unlike his predominantly white, blue and yellow livery of last year, the 27-year-old Spaniard's new design is basically yellow.

Also featuring red and blue, and the twin playing-card 'aces' on the rear, the new design will be debuted on Wednesday when Alonso tests the R29 for the first time at Portimao in Portugal.

i liked his previous livery, this is kind of boring.

love those arai GP5's though, only helmet i own.

good one I was wondering the same thing it flew over my head..... I actually like the new helmet colors
