Buemi to stay in tax-free Bahrain!
Swiss racer Sebastien Buemi insists he will continue to reside officially in Bahrain this year.
Ahead of the 20-year-old's Formula One debut in 2009, Toro Rosso boss Franz Tost indicated recently that Buemi will now be spending a lot of time near the team's Italian base.
"I will probably spend a lot more time in Faenza to be near the team factory, but I will still keep my main home in Bahrain," Buemi told the Gulf Daily News.
He lives in Bahrain with his uncle Humbert, aunt Sylvia, and cousins Frederic, Steve and Laura.
Residents of the Gulf island Kingdom pay no more than one percent in personal income tax.

These guys make huge money for ~10 years (usually less), then they're done. I would too. Didn't Mansell live in the Isle of Man during his F1 years because of it's tax status?
One would think Monaco would be more appealing though
