Kubica critical of BMW Sauber

Robert Kubica has renewed his criticism of the BMW Sauber team.
The 23-year-old Pole won his and the German team's maiden Grand Prix in Canada, and left North America with the lead in the drivers' world championship.
He stayed in contention for the sport's biggest prize until late in the season, but had a disastrous last couple of races and ultimately finished fourth.
Earlier in 2008, Kubica outlined has belief that BMW Sauber were more focused on consolidating its third place in the constructors' championship, and bringing the struggling Nick Heidfeld back up to speed, than winning the drivers' title.
"In the last two or three months, I had the feeling that the team and I were no longer pursuing the same goal," he confirmed in interview with Formule 1 Race Report.

After his great performance this past season, I'd think he'd have no problem finding another team that fell in line more with what Kubica wanted. On the other hand, I doubt that any of those other teams that would take him are capable of getting him where he wants to go. I think that if Heidfield can develop a bit more as a driver and start giving Kubica a run for the points more often, it'd ignite the fire in Kubica to push harder. While I can understand his frustration that the team isn't focusing on him as much as he'd like, I can't blame the team for trying to get two drivers onto the podium instead of just one.

He just needs to get his anorexic ass back to the dinner table and shut up.

Sounds like the team tried to tell him indirectly that he had no real chance at the driver's championship.

The guy is a great talent and could be a future champion, just not with BMW Sauber and their current operation. BMW Sauber would need a huge budget increase to get Kubica solidly on the podium in every race.

BMW Sauber have had steady development since there inception which seemed to be commendable until the tail end of the Season where we saw the resurgence of Renault I don't know if the difference in the equation is Alonso but certainly if BMW Sauber want to be contenders they should step it up a notch or two. On Kubica its great to see an ambitious driver even if his arrogance is irritating

I blame it all on Heidfeld's facial hair:
