Micro 4/3 cameras ... any thoughts?

I don't know what to think of these new micro 4/3 cameras.

I'm getting rid of my 40D as I feel it's too bulky/sensitive/pricey to lug around on the bike, and thought they may be an interesting replacement, essentially thanks to their smaller size (yet you can still swap out lenses!). Plus, video is neat do-it-all feature (although I have no idea what the quality is like)

Anyone ever fiddled with one of these? Not sure if a specific model is much better than others ...

I just know I'd go for a wide angle and a fast prime ... but do they really provide decent images or is it all just a gimmick?

Just fishin' for opinions ...

I'm picking up a GF1 this week.

I was in the same boat as you. I have mastered my higher end point & shoots, but know that I will not lug around a DSLR, so micro 4/3 seemed like a logical choice.
