I finally picked up a Canon 300mm 2.8 IS and good lord, I don't know why I waited so long. I put my lens through some SERIOUS testing this weekend.

I photographed my university football game Saturday afternoon in Tampa, edited and transmitted my photos to my company. After I finished up all of my work for USF I headed to Naples for the night (2 hours south of Tampa), crashed for a few hours, woke up at 6am and headed to Homestead-Miami Speedway (2 hours south of Naples) to meet up with my good buddy Kevin (KevinS4 on the forum) to photograph the NASCAR Ford 400 in Miami. (Those photos have been posted here in the Photography section as well)

All together, 725 miles later, my photos from my weekend's festivities can be found below.

11/21: Louisville Cardinals vs South Florida Bulls

Final score: 34-22 - USF victory with 7-3 record.
