Talking My College Football Photography

Hey everyone! I haven’t posted in a while. Luckily, this time around I wasn’t not posting because I didn’t have anything to show. It’s actually the complete opposite! I seem to be keeping too busy.

I love it though. I truly couldn’t ask for anything better. Photography is my love and passion so any time I can keep busy doing what I love then I’m at my happiest.

Long story short, as many of you know, I recently moved to Tampa a couple weeks ago to transfer colleges. I quickly inquired to every USF affiliated organization and magazine on campus and managed to get myself an offer asking if I’d be interested in being the official USF student athletics photographer.

Needless to say, I took the university up on their offer!

After many emails were exchanged, I had an interview set up for the position and within a 15 minute span I was out of the office with a season pass in one hand, media credentials in the other, and off to the games I go!

I shot my first Bulls game last week at Raymond James Stadium. I ended up catching myself on television….sweet. It was definitely a cool experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself and learned A LOT.

Regardless, here are a handful of my photos from my first ever sports game.

My website.

Cute gals, I enjoy private model shoots more though.

That may be my next alley to investigate!

sweet. did you need a press pass or special clearance? i tried to get my gear into the rose bowl and i had to check it at the gate. all you could bring was a P&S.

Media credentials.

I work and photograph for my university so I get sideline passes to each home game.

I will be photographing the game for them tomorrow night at Raymond James Stadium versus Kansas. Should be insane.
