NEED HELP!!!! Best 'smallest' Camera

I have 2 cybershots as my carry around cameras. They are great. I had a Nikon but it lasted all of 6 months as a carry around before it started acting up. I took it back. Don't get me wrong, Nikon makes awesome cameras, I own an SLR (soon to be 2). I just don't think they are that great with respects to smaller cameras.

My friend spent an entire afternoon taking pictures with his Olympus SW camera through a glass of beer.
(yes.... he submerged the camera in a glass and took pictures with it)
The same camera has been swimming in all kinds of college bar drinks and still works just fine.

I have to say that although the Canon 870IS is by far the best image quality and shooting speed wise....

I was just scrolling down to recommend the Leica Dlux3... a great camera that also looks great sticking up from here handbag...
Indoor shots with the flash are like most pocket digs... Leaving you wanting more...
Outdoors.. GREAT!
Just the Leica case alone convinced me to drop the ricoh GR1d.
Congrats to a great choice.
