Canon 1Ds MKIII vs 5d MkII?
Helping a friend with a purchase decision. Now that the new 5d has come out, how does it compare to the top level 1ds? The specs look nearly identical. Why would someone buy the 1ds? How much would a slightly used one be worth? At even money, better to buy a used 1ds or a new 5d?

build quality and AF system is better in 1Ds III

I have a friend who uses both for all kinds of shot'n and loves the 5DMkII over the 1DMkIII
I am very happy with my 5DMkII but I have not been out with it much.
