Got a new lens today...

Went to B&H and got a new Tokina 12-24mm f4 wide angle zoom. I think it should yield some nice landscapes and car shots. I tried out the Sigma 10-20mm and thought the Tokina was sharper. Here is a test shot of my daughters room.

I love my Siggy 10-20 but I'm glad you enjoy the Tokina. I think Tokina's quality control has surpassed Sigma's just slightly so maybe the 10-20 you tried was a bad copy. Either way, enjoy the new lens! I'll be looking forward to seeing your photos!

you will have a lot of fun with that Gil. add a nice filter, and TS will have some great shots.

I have a UV filter on it. I just posted some night shots on the other night shot thread using this lens.

I'm sure you'll love it. Wide angles are great.
