I love the M14 for lots of reasons - reliable, accurate, modular, "proper" rifle round, etc. Unless I can get a piston M4 (LWRC or similar), I'll get an M1A SOCOM 16. Great rifle. I was going to get a custom ACOG mount for it, but a buddy from SF showed me an awesome way to zero an EO-Tech for 200m.
