Chris/someone who knows - what is with the two laser sights on the handguards? Looks like two pencil style laser points side by side? Is there an advantage to this?

One side holds the batteries, the other is the actual laser.

Not sure which pic - could be visible and IR laser, could be white light/laser, could be batts/laser...
