That Hassy is absolutely beautiful! I'd love to pick one up to play around with, but glass is astronomically expensive and I can't afford to use two systems right now. How do you like it?

i too could not afford to buy one brand so i opted to buy a used one from KEH.com. think of that site as the BHphotovideo of used cameras, great service, great prices, honest people. they have a grading system to determine how good or bad shape the camera is. My 500cm is rated "Excellent +" but to tell you the truth i would say its brand new. In my opinion KEH really under rates the products they have. However i have heard of one story where someone bought a lens rated "Bargin" and he said the housing was scratched pretty bad and there was almost no paint left, BUT the glass had no imperfections. I would check them out and see what you could work with.

anywhere from $3 to $6 per roll, you get 12 shots per roll.

Amazing Hasselblad! I don't know much, but my dad once took me to a store in Dubai and showed one to me, saying that "..that's what a proper camera should be"
P.S. James, you're friends with Baki and Fadi over from E46/SCD right?

Outside my door
Been trying to get a shot of this big ol girl for weeks. A pair took up in the neighborhood last month- I hear em hooting at each other every day around dusk. She was sitting in the pine tree next to my front door this afternoon when I got home. This bird is huge- easily 24-28" from head to tip of tailfeathers- good thing the cat stays inside.
