Today was a little practice of hand-held macro shooting. I was really playing around with the aperture and stuff to try and increase my DOF, and it was a 105mm Micro, so they're not as sharp as I'd like. But I learned a lot today, and I'm starting to figure some things out.

 

Here's a few from my band tour yesterday. We stopped at KenTacoHut and DQ for some lunch

Just managed to snap my first photo of lightning ten minutes ago... pretty excited about that

 

Took this one over the weekend. Didn't even really plan it, was just shooting on high speed shutter as the F-22 went into the sun.

 

That is awesome Tim! Perfect capture right between the sun and the glare. I was thinking about going to the airshow this weekend, but we decided to just relax at the park. I kind of wish I'd gone to take some pics, maybe next year.

 

the lightning shot is great, i've never been able to capture that before!
