Delicate Arch - Utah - Taken with a Nikon D200 17-35 Nikon lens.

Mont Saint Michelle - Taken with a Pentax 67 w/45mm lens.

The Nikon D3 is pretty new so no travel photos yet.

And I would assume you are since I've never seen photos that looked that nice straight out of the camera (no offense).

I use PS4 for sharpening and saturation - not for extra effects.
I also use different filters on my camera - graduated ND, polarizer, warming, etc.
All part of the process of trying to capture with the camera, what your eye perceives at that moment.
