RS6.com is your best source.
First, let me say I love this car. I have 53,607 miles and it is still a joy to drive. After replacing my pads and rotors a few miles ago, it drives like new.
Do a quick search at RS6.com on these two topics:
1. Some have had problems with their DRC systems.
2. Some have had transmission issues.
I have had my transmission replaced under warranty, though I never experienced any problems or symptoms. Just a serial number trigger, I guess.
I did have a DRC (left front to right rear) failure after hitting a snow drift in February, but that system is fine now.
Mine may be for sale to the right home, but I don't see anything in its class that I like better right now. Frankly, this car is overkill for a commuter -- like bringing a shot gun to a boxing match. But then, it is so much fun!
