Akrapovic exhaust in a R8...amazing.
HOLY CRAP....this sounds amazing. A V10 at 8k rpm with Akrapovic exhaust with the valves open? Best sounding car I have ever own. It's not nearly as amazing as a certain FGT here on this board...but, man, with the top down this sounds so good.
The tech (thanks Nate and Justin from Audi Westmont!) took some pics as he went along...I was hoping to, but I got stuck at work. I'll post them as soon as I get them. The Akra is amazingly well made and light! The titanium does have a distinct higher pitched sounds with some low grunt still. Rev matching a down shift is now a religious experience.

Don't mind my 12 y/o's editorial comment a couple of seconds in...
These videos just don't do any justice as I was only blipping to 6k and with my crappy microphone.
It's exquisite.

Some pictures of the install. I wanted to take some but I was caught at work. Nate, the R8 tech @ Audi Westmont was nice enough to take some shots. It's a pain to put an exhaust in the Audi compared to 911's.
Some pics of the install if folks are interested...

Comparison!
That Akra is almost too pretty to install.
This isn't even 1/3 of the stuff that needs to come off and get re-installed.
