This is me driving the 2014 Audi R8 5.2 V10 with the new 7-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch gearbox around Porto Cervo in Sardinia.
In this video you can hear it starting up, revving nicely and then some driving footages including fast accelerations and loud downshifts, taken with my GoPro HD Hero 3 positioned on the back, near the exhaust pipe!...... Enjoy!

 

fantastic video. love the new s tronic on the R8 v10 and plus. it's the best thing audi has done on the 2014! i just wished they would have done more to improve the styling of the car.

i hope lamborghini adopts the same transmission.

after driving the s tronic on the track, i think it's at par with the dual clutch from Ferrari 458, PDK from 991. smart, fast and less worrying about burning the clutch.
