AWD helps play a huge factor.

Look at the F10 M5 (rwd) vs the new S6 (awd, LC), same 0-60s but the M5 will eat it after that..

4.2 is the data audi declares ( it's reported in the brackets,on the left)

in the test Automobilismo measured 4.02s, few tenths better

0-400mt or 1/4mile : 12,11s @186,90km/h or 116.81mph vs 11,8 Motortrend

Thats what I have been complaining about from BMW lately. They have lost their direction and are starting to lose a lot of fans. BMW fanboys are no more
S8 so freakin impressive.

I was surprised by the over/under rating of horsepower for each of the cars. I feel like this seems to be happening more often these days, but it is something to think about.

Slightly confused with Audi. They limit the preformance of the r8 so it fits just right with the Lambo brand. But they have not regards to getting a A8 to hit 3.5 sec to 60! when a R8v10 coupe does 60 in 3.9seconds!

Slightly odd thinking there, no?

You can call me a bmw fanboy but the MT reviewer is an audi fanboy. Every review i've seen that he does somehow ends up with the audi winning. Did anyone see his S6 vs. F10 M5 vs. E63 review? I think he's on the payroll.

Doesnt mean S8 isnt a better car. I actually prefer it over the Alpina. Just pointing out that ive noticed a trend with his reviews

New 2013 R8 with S-tronic will be faster. Official times for new V10 Plus model are listed at 3.6 whereas official times for S8 are
only listed at 3.9, so R8 should be even faster.
