Chris I thought you'd be one of the first to respond! Hehehe.

I was looking forward to the RS but the dealer and Audi rep dilly-dallying put me off. I went by the golden rule... if it don't sit right... don't do it! I hope I'll be happy with the P.

You can (almost) never go wrong with a Porsche. Please order an interesting one.

I want it to be more performance and handling focused and therefore have selected the following options:

991S
7-speed manual
White
Black interior
Prem Package Plus with Adaptive Sport Seats Plus
Adaptive Sport Seats Plus
Sunroof in glass
PDCC with Sport Suspension
Sport Chrono Package
20' Carrera S wheel - Wheel painted black
5mm spacers
SportDesign steering wheel
Bose package

The wheel style option may change. The only reason I'm going for the sport chrono is for the Dynamic Engine mounts. I'm considering the sport exhaust option too but think standard may be loud enough.

Congratulations man. That spec sounds perfect. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the manual in this compared to the 997.

The standard Carrera S wheels are the best right now. Keep them, but do the titanium finish instead of black. It's cheaper, too. FWIW, I saw the new Boxster today in person. ****ING AWESOME. I'd buy one tomorrow if I had room and my wife wouldn't cut my junk off whilst I slept.

Can't wait to go to the premier party next week for the boxster. Same here minus the junk part because it will be the wife's car. No f'ing room for it.

I so relieved about getting back into a P car that I can't even spell "boxster"!!

The new Boxster does look mighty good! I checked out some review on youtube and they were great. With the sport exhaust it sounds awesome!
