2013 Audi R8 Updated: So Long R-Tronic, Hello Dual-Cluth Gearbox

I think you mean so long r-tronic, hello s-tronic. DCT is BMW.
Most dual clutch trannies feel almost too smooth that you lose some of the feeling of a manual tranny. This was the principal reason that lamborghini stuck with a single clutch vs dual on the aventador.

The new Audi R8 is bold and powerful. As standard it is fitted with an aerodynamic grey paint job. Our head of paint department, Dr. Wolfgang Paintenue insists the car is grey because any other color would clash with the new LED headlights and tail lights our engineers spent so long making. The new LED technology is the same as on the old R8, but the bulbs a reposistioned to appear more dynamic. Our engineers spent an ample amount of time correcting the position of the bulbs. After some complex math and algorithm, we thought they looked good.
At first glance, the new R8 looks like an R8. Look closer and you'll notice that we also put our complex math equations to use on the tail lights. Open up the iconic Audi R8 doors and you'll notice we haven't done much in the interior either. We figure, why fix the problems when some will just miss them? However, when we ordered some new R-tronic transmissions from ZF, our order was blocked. So, we went to the parts bin and dug up some VW Golf transmission that had achtspeeds, and zweikupllunges. Pure German engineering.
The new transmissions are coupled to a choice of either a 4.2 V8 or a 5.2 V10. On both engines we bumped the power up just a tad, through the use of some more complex equations. To save fuel, we implemented a new revolutionary start-stop system. Upon approaching a stop light, we ask that you open up your glove box compartment. There, you will find a simple 16 step procedure in order to successfully shut off the engine of your R8 with out interrupting the electric flow to the iconic LED headlights.
Looks out for the new, shiny R8 that goes on sale: soon.
