Coolness! I always thought of getting an R8V10 and doing the Stasis SC conversion on it for the ultimate winter beater. Since I ski in winter too, I figured there was no practical way to tote my skis around in one, but with the PPI rear wing, he has managed to put a ski/luggage roof carrier on the thing, resting it on the car roof! 
Anyone know if such a roof carrier with proper attachment is available commercially that won't damage the car's roof?

In a couple of months when it's done-you'll see. 
It's a Protomotive beast from John and Paul at Protosport in NJ, taking my 2005 996 Turbo S Cabriolet, more than doubling the stock HP rating, and converting it to RWD. BTW, my signature is out-of-date: we plan to make it 4.2L, not 3.8L.
