I know it's not an Audi, but it shares a lot of components with them, besides, it's the coolest thing VW makes currently...

It's a base model, no sunroof, no nav. I wanted it to be simple. Traded in my '09 GTI for it. I have a TON of mods in mind, though I'm open to wheel suggestions. I'll probably stick to 18", but 19" is ok, too. I'm leaning toward BBS LM-R, RE, etc. I'm getting it tinted on Friday. 35% all around.

Regardless of how ghey the Aussie TSers say it is, I like it. It's pretty quick, sounds good, and took mom, baby, and me to breakfast this morning.

SICK - I looked at those and they are primo. Flat bottom wheel FTW. The interior is unmatched.

Very nice! I assume xenons are standard on the R but great to hear they have them even w/o nav & sunroof. I remember that being a frustration on my old MK6 GTI.
