anybody who is willing to take a VW Pampers bomber over a "sports" sedan like the 3 series is nuts..

David, per our discussion on the eastbay run, I would advise against the Tesla until the battery drainage issue has been resolved.

One other car I would like to add to the mix would be the Infiniti M35 hybird. It's got lots of power 360 hp and averages 30 mpg. The styling is on point if not better than the 3 and 5 series along with the Audi and the interior is second to none IMO.

You can't go wrong with the new 5-series equipped with a 6-cylinder diesel. Honestly, just like the Top Gear-team said, the new F10 530D is just such an amazing machine, I love it. Here's a picture of a 535D with the M-sports pack.
