I'm confused. All the talks about Gallardo successor mention how it will share its completely new developed platform with the coming R8. Why would you develope an entirely new platform and then just do a facelift exterior wise? Also the R8 has been in production 6 years, which is quite a long time. Too long imo to just update it with a facelift. It needs a bigger makeover. New engines and dct as well would be about time.
