Yeah, we don't get a lot of great cars driving around in Europe. But, I can't see how the certification process would be much different than existing avants - and/or RS5.

I would still like to see another RS4 imported.

I really like but I think the red color is hiding the wide body which in person should be badass!

That makes 3 of us. Not enough to pay for FMVSS cert cost.

Along with stuka diplomacy of kicking ass first and asking question later, if I ever become the president I will defund, scratch that, abolish the NHTSA and sign up with ECE.

Everyone can then import their own cool ECE cars from Europe (read, all cars safe for sale in Europe), just like back in the 80's when mere mortals could import a BMW or Porsche or Benz easily from Germany.

RS5 is not coming for this same reason.

Every model has to be separately certified. They could look the same, have the same body, but heaven forbid one has a different engine than the other.

NHTSA needs to go. Or I suppose if a day ever come that they sign us up with ECE, then they can stay.

RS5 is indeed coming. Order guides should be arriving any day now. I'm guessing $90K with everything (incl. ceramic brakes).
