Unfortunately no.

It doesn't help. RS4 owners have to see this as a maintenance item from this point forward. I suggest every 25K miles.

$795 is much cheaper than what a dealer charges. I've heard up to $1500

This particular car had 62K miles. It is the one of the worst buildup we've seen, def. in top two.

Kai, thanks for documenting and posting photos so well. As being a former B7 RS4 owner myself, I witnessed firsthand this infamous "carbon build-up" as well as teh interwebz debacle that ensued.

People were distressed about the cost of repairs, but honestly once you drive and own an RS4 you begin to appreciate it for what it is...even if it does have some not so minor flaws.

I tell all of our RS4 customers you just have to look at it and include it on your routine maintenance and accept it the way it is. It could be worse!
