anyone got any leads on B7/B8 A4 avants with a manual?

looking for a new car....anyone have any leads on one of these? seems the avants are hard to come by and a manual is even more difficult.

Ah. Where were you 6 months ago? Traded my B7 A4 Avant 6 speed into the dealer. Honestly, if you can swing it, go for an S4. The A4 was painfully underpowered. GL

The S4 Avant was barely adequate when it comes to power.

Can't imagine how slow the A4 is.

S4 is also in consideration, if I can find one in the price range. I'm trying to keep it around 23-28K so that I can also keep my GTO (since it's paid for)

that said, since I'm going to try to keep the GTO power isn't a huge concern, but I do have some connections for mods for the audi (software, etc)

23 to 28K is pretty difficult for a B7 S4 Avant manual, unfortunately.

Bonehead went from the A4 Avant to STI and AFAIK really likes it, have you thought about the STI?

STi yes, very much so, wife says no (She actually wants me in a tahoe or crew cab truck with a lift kit....silly women; we could use the hauling capacity but I hope to have my '55 out here in a few months which will be fine for home depot runs)

If I did do the S4 i'd most likely sell the goat..which would up the price availability

If the dealer will throw in a CPO for the same price, then I say HB should go for it.
