I'll make sure to give you the straight scoop. I think my opinion will be informed since I currently have a PDK C4S and I owned an RS4 previously. With those two benchmarks in mind, I hope I can give you guys the proper rundown.

here in Germany we have a couple of car guys who have already driven it
one guy did it on the test track in Ascari
I think if you like the RS4 which is badass and very practicable as a DD you will like the RS5 as well
Things like understeer should not be a problem then
the Interior of the RS5 is really really nice...the seats are very cool(imo)
One guy mentioned that the S-tronic is fast and all but never as good as a manual and that the M3 has more of a feel for being a sportscar than the RS5 and said that the RS5 is more of a fast GT than a sportscar - similar to the S5 but better and sportier
I think this car would be perfect as a DD for couples without kids or singles.
The RS5 may even be faster than the M3,but just like it is with a 599 vs a Pcar,it`s the way it feels and involves you when going around corners or over bumpy roads at high speeds
anyway...I like it a lot(!),but I`m just the RWD Bimmer not grown up yet kinda guy

That's awesome. The guy I spoke with is the pricing manager for AoA. He used to work at the company that does all the lease residuals, then made the move to AoA. So great - I am jealous!

I'll be intyerested to see if ABT sell that through the Audi network in mainland europe (they are like BeeM's Alpina in Germany etc) and honour warranty. If they do it would shout out loud and clear the confidence around the 2.5 engine's reliability and strength
